What and how:
The Biography of key competences is a tool that can be used for skills assessment, recognition and validation of competences acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning activities leading to increased awareness of internal resources. The tool requires a facilitator that works with the participants in a semi-structured interview, identifies skills and competences that have been acquired in different settings and records the competences acquired in a skills balance sheet. Using the KODE® Atlas of Competences, the facilitator identifies and records the competences of the beneficiary, classified in four areas of competences: personal competences, competences of activity and decision making, social and communicative competences, professional and methodological competences.
